Q: What if Kiva closes down?
A: If Kiva closes or changes ethos we will consult with donors on the best way forward, either switching systems or donating the money to charity.

Q: Will Domainer Aid be taking any fees?
A: No. All domain names, hosting and time is being given for free and open to any questions nice and transparently!

Q: Do I earn interest?
A: No. Do not treat this as a Kiva loan, rather than a donation that you do not expect back.

Q: Why Kiva?
A: We like the idea of investing in people rather than generic charitable donations. With Kiva we can build up a fund that works ‘forever’ as the donations will keep coming and the loans will keep being repaid. This will in turn mean a larger ongoing reach.

Q: Who will the Domainer Aid invest in?
A: We will aim to invest in as many different people as possible. The progress of which will be viewable on our Kiva hosted portfolio page.

Q: Why do this via Domainer Aid rather than direct myself?
A: We encourage anyone to work with Kiva, however acting as a group we believe we can get more people on board. Likewise as we will be reinvesting all repayments the ‘pot’ will grow larger and we will be able to fund larger loans enabling quicker disbursements.

Q: What else do I get for giving money to Domainer Aid?
A: Apart from a warm fuzzy feeling inside for making a difference, you can request to be a non-anonymous donor and have your name and website listed on our Donors page.
