Domainer Aid

Domainers operate in a high margin industry where $50 or $100 can be an insignificant figure, yet for many such a figure can mean creation or expansion of a business and security for their family for many years to come.

We aim to give domainers the option to ‘give something back’ in an easy and effective way. We harness the micro-lending platform of Kiva.org with the cashflow of Domainers to build up an ever growing perpetual fund to support microbusinesses around the globe.

Kiva is a loan , not a donation, however we really are focusing on the concept of reinvesting perpetually. This is a charitable cause rather than a money making venture as no interest is paid on loans.

This is a fully not for profit venture, with organisers donating time and resources to make this happen.

DomainerAid was an inital idea back in July 2007, and now (Sept 08) Kiva has the functionality to make this a reality. I am sending out emails and forum posts to promote the launch of DomainerAid and would encourage any reader of this to consider donating $25 / £12.50 or much much more
